Build reading, writing, and math skills before the NYS ELA test (April) and Math test (May). 5th graders: Hunter College High School has used 5th-grade state test scores to decide who may take its entrance exam.
The SHSAT is now computer-adaptive: question difficulty changes as your child answers. Spring of 7th grade is a head start on the skills it tests before the fall 2027 exam. Our SHSAT curriculum has been rebuilt for the adaptive format.
Students admitted to Stuyvesant take a math placement test in June; this class prepares for it, along with writing and Algebra I Regents prep before the June 16 Regents exam, so your child starts high school math strong.

Course support through AP Calculus AB/BC (May 10), AP Precalculus (May 11), and the June Regents: Algebra I (June 16), Algebra II (June 17), and Geometry (June 22).

Prepare for AP Biology (May 3), AP Physics 1 (May 5), AP Chemistry (May 6), and the June Regents.
Prepare with the latest digital SAT question types. Spring test dates: March 6, May 1, June 5.

Register NowABCMath Academy has two classrooms in downtown Flushing, Queens: 43-55 Kissena Blvd and 140-22 Beech Ave, both in Flushing, NY 11355. The Q25 and Q34 buses run from Flushing–Main St along Kissena Blvd, and weekend classes fill from across Queens and Brooklyn. Families come to us for SHSAT prep in 7th and 8th grade, SAT prep in high school, and math tutoring in Flushing from 3rd grade through AP Calculus. Every class is taught by NYS-certified teachers with teaching assistants on hand, in person on Saturdays or with live online tutoring during the week.
